Por La Mar Nursery in Santa Barbara to Host Future CAST Events
After more than a decade of unforgettable California Spring Trials (CAST) experiences at its Watsonville facility, Benary is thrilled to announce a new location for CAST 2026 and beyond:
Por La Mar Nursery, located at 905 S. Patterson Ave., Santa Barbara, CA 93111.
Since 2013, Benary has redefined what a CAST event can be—transforming product launches into immersive brand experiences. From New York-style fashion shows and virtual reality helicopter rides (followed by the real thing), to curated museum exhibits like “The Art of Benary,” bicycle rides, putting contests and even signature cocktails like “BIG® Begonia Beer,” Benary’s CAST events have become legendary for their creativity, storytelling, and unforgettable hospitality.
With the closure of the Watsonville breeding facility, Benary is turning the page and partnering with Por La Mar Nursery, a premier grower known for its innovation, quality, and stunning coastal setting. This new collaboration promises to carry forward Benary’s tradition of bold, engaging presentations—now with a fresh Santa Barbara twist.
