Product Management tasks include the control of new introductions, quality assurance, and quality inspection.

The following departments report directly to Product Management:

1. Trialing

Here, all varieties are tested, e.g. for climate tolerance, crop management, uses etc. In addition, all novelties are compared with competitive varieties. Comparison trials are run in cooperation with international and German horticultural universities. The Trialing Department ensures that all varieties consistently meet market requirements.

2. Communications

Benary's in-house agency produces catalogues and leaflets and provides a state-of-the-art Picture Service for customers and the trade and home press, keeping them up-to-date with information about the company's varieties and new developments.
