With 137 species and 350 cultivars of perennials Benary continues the history of leadership in perennial breeding and production. Modern cultivation is making new and more complex demands on perennials:

• The cultivars must tolerate very different climatic conditions and yet flower reliably.
• Flowering time must be prolonged for increased value to the final customer
• The crop must be easy to grow and be successful without excessive use of technical devices.
• Crop time must be shorter and more controllable.

Actually Benary meets these demands with new selections of perennial assortments. So in 2002/2003 Benary created a new trademark, the new ”Fastrax Prennial Program” as a product of superior breeding and selection work. Including 99 varieties, these perennials can be produced very economically and flower the first year from seed.
