The “Bedding Plant” - segment shows by far the largest product range of Benary seeds. It's the biggest and the most traditional section, since Benary breeds fibrous and tuberous begonia as well as pansies since the 19th century. Bedding plants are the basis of the Benary's worldwide fame of today.

Also in this range the breeding activities run to fullfill the following aims:

• high seed quality and production rentability for the producer

• long shelf life of the plants to meet the consumers demands

• dense plants that have a compact growth habit with a long flowering in spectecular colors
