Fancy something other than petunias, pelargoniums or other classic summer all-rounders?

If you do, you are sure to find lots of interesting highlights among Benary's latest new introductions.

With masses of extremely large flowers, 'BIG'TM begonias put on a stately show in containers, baskets and large landscape plantings which truly create that WOW! effect. Easy to produce, with great point-of-sale appeal and reliable outdoor performance, 'BIG'TM begonias offer everything you can ask for. Large 8 cm flowers are held upright above the leaves for maximum show. The glossy, deep green or bronze foliage adds vibrancy and contrast to the striking flowers. 'BIG'TMs thrive in a wide range of conditions from full sun to shade. The introduction of this exceptional series of 3 colors is a 'BIG'TM event. It is staged precisely 100 years after Benary introduced the first tetraploid F1 begonia 'Primadonna'TM. Just like 'Primadonna'TM did 100 years ago, 'BIG'TM is revolutionizing the bedding and border range on offer.

Hey, what's this? 'Joey'® is a sensational breakthrough in plant breeding. This avant-garde beauty allows for maximum fantasy and creativity in designing mixed containers and sun-kissed flower beds with unprecedented highlights. The 6-10 cm fluffy bottlebrush flower spikes are a sparkling silver with intense neon pink tips. A native to central Australia, Ptilotus 'Joey'® is very heat and drought tolerant as well as being highly adaptable. Short crop times (approximately 12-16 weeks), a high percentage of transplantable plugs, and a compact habit allow for quick and high returns on this truly unique crop.

'Primary' stands for tuberous begonias that combine early flowering with great quality benefits. Its 8-10-day shorter crop time and uniform, compact habit reduce production and shipping costs of this new begonia series of 4 main colors. Premium seed and high quality plugs ensure that 'Primary' begonias get an ideal start into fast and uniform plant development.

The new 'Nonstop Fire' creates a magnificent show-stopper fireworks of hot shades of yellow, gold, orange and red above deep green leaves. Compact, with good branching and a mounded habit, 'Nonstop Fire' produces masses of lasting flowers in flower beds and containers alike throughout the season.

The new 'Lotto Red' really makes a show of its 7-10 cm blooms. Healthy and a great performer in sunny and shady locations alike, fibrous begonia 'Lotto Red' is ideal for use in attractive, vividly colored container and bedding schemes.

The early, vigorous Pentas 'Kaleidoscope' series cuts a fine figure in mixed containers and bedding schemes. The new colors 'Kaleidoscope Pink' and 'Deep Rose' are making their mark with great vigor and large flower heads bursting with vivid brilliance.

Something new, something blue - Salvia x superba 'Adora' is sure to enchant growers, traders and plant lovers alike with its dense habit and profusion of deep violet blue flower spikes. Flowering early the first year from seed, 'Adora' can be grown fast and profitably along with annuals in spring or along with other attractive Benary FastraX perennials or traditional perennials for summer sales.
