Fall or spring ? Lots of colors create a fresh and congenial atmosphere

The new Bellis 'Speedstar'® series offers beauty and extra uses for multiple seasons. Unlike traditional bellis, the vernalization-free 'Speedstar'® series can be produced for both fall and spring sales windows. A small grace, 'Speedstar'® puts on a really big show. Masses of semi-double flowers in carmine, rose, and white are set off by a golden yellow eye, creating a beautiful display in the pot and landscape alike. Its compact habit with short flower stems and small leaves make 'Speedstar'® an ideal partner for pansies and a low-cost crop for the fall and spring seasons.

Early, with large bright flower clusters above compact leaves, new 'Crescendo® Yellow' is an ace in the market-leading hardy Primula elatior series. 'Crescendo'®s have only low energy consumption requirements in production, making them a profitable crop for growers. 'Crescendo'® qualifies as a prime bedding and landscape variety for its outstanding overwintering performance. Planted in the fall, 'Crescendo'® flower beds will be the first in early spring to produce striking colors and unique brilliance that makes hearts leap with joy.

New F1 Pansy 'Fancy Silver Blue with Blotch' shows cool silvery elegance as well as creating a vivid contrast between the deep blue eye and bright yellow center. 'Fancy Silver Blue with Blotch', like the rest of the 'Fancy' series of 22 colors, meets the high requirements of industrial production and marketing for fall and spring.

The new vernalization-free Armeria maritima 'Morning Star Deep Rose' can be grown for sales from spring until well into the summer. Very early to flower, and with an abundant production of strong short pedicels, 'Morning Star Deep Rose' goes strong with optimum point-of-sale appeal over a long period of time. The intense pink flower heads create a charming contrast with the deep green grassy leaves, making 'Morning Star Deep Rose' a fine structure and ideal element for appealing arrangements.
